Inspiration

Ceri and Andrew are just the loveliest couple - I'm basing this purely on these gorgeous images from Irene Yap, along with Ceri's words of course, but anyone who describes their other half as 'the kindest man I'd ever met' is clearly a lady who knows what's important in life. Irene's work is always dreamy but there's something extra special about these images. Whether it's the golden late afternoon sunlight, or the loving vibe radiating from Ceri and Andrew, I don't know, I'll let you decide...

Our Story

Ceri the Bride: Andrew and I met at the end of the summer in 2012, he was the kindest man I'd ever met and we were happily spending many an hour together from day one. It was true love and friendship.

The Proposal

Never mind proposal story Andrew asked me to be his girlfriend with a homemade word puzzle which resulted in me being presented with a toothbrush to keep at his flat in North London! Three years later however he did trump this with an incredibly romantic proposal at Hever Castle and of course I said yes!

The Engagement Shoot

Our first home together was in Hackney Wick so this was the perfect spot for our engagement shoot. We are a little camera shy so wanted to get to know Irene a bit better before the wedding so we wouldn't feel quite so awkward being the centre of attention on the big day! She made us feel completely at ease and we were so pleased with the end result.

Our Wedding

Our wedding is going to be very homespun, we've got a very long to do list including making our own wedding rings and cake! We hope the actual day has a relaxed vibe, with all of our favourite people in one place. Sadly we have both lost a parent in the last year and their presence will be deeply missed but we know they will be there with us too in some way or another.
