Inspiration

Summer may be creeping up on us, but this Christmas wedding is giving us all the winter feels. A tea-length bride dress with an ostrich feather hem was the perfect choice for this beautiful seasonal celebration. A cosy affair with just 35 guests made up of close friends and family. The Georgian country venue, Hillmount House, in Northern Ireland was the perfect venue for this intimate wedding weekend - including the two pet dogs who attended! The long banquet table was littered in warming candles with gold candlesticks and jewel coloured florals, finished off with a hanging flower and foliage chandelier above head. It looks so warm and cosy, just proof that small weddings can be just as beautiful as big ones!

What Made Our Day Unique

We had the most amazing wedding weekend! We wanted a small intimate, luxurious, winter wedding and knew when we visited Hillmount it was perfect. A beautiful Georgian country house set in a fabulous site overlooking the sea. We had 35 guests in total, made up of family and close friends. To have the luxury of the coach-house, stable-block and the house was so relaxing and we immediately felt 'at home'. To have our two dogs there with us was the best - a really special family time.

Christmas Wedding

This luxurious Christmas wedding was everything you would expect it to be and more, cosy, intimate, fires roaring, mulled wine flowing, of course not forgetting the mince pies and if you had any room left whatsoever then there was an amazing drip wedding cake to enjoy too! The couple's vision of a fine dining experience with all the trimmings was brought to life in the dining room and was exactly what they had dreamed their wedding to be. And choosing to make a weekend out of it at Hillmount House, they got to spend that bit of extra time with their loved ones!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted to create a cosy, laid back vibe to our day with a luxurious touch. A day that everyone could really enjoy the surroundings, the food, the drink, the music. Roaring fires, warm candlelight, the smell of mulled wine and mince pies. Good food and great company - a family time we would remember for years to come. We wanted the dining experience to be extra special - everything from the fine glassware, the food, the sumptuous velvet runners and the jewel colours of the flowers lit only by candlelight. A warm magical feel.
