At the heart of Samoan culture is family, food, and lively entertainment, and this Summer wedding at Coddington Vineyard has all those qualities and more. Real bride Ellie wears a stunning lace Pronovias bridal gown for the church ceremony before changing into a patterned Laeidress and performing a Siva Samoa at the marquee reception. Her groom also swaps his classic navy suit for a lavalava outfit, and along with his groomsmen dance in front of his new bride welcoming her into the family. What Made Our Day Unique
Being an Australian Samoan Groom and an English Bride, both living in France, It was important to us to blend our cultures whilst incorporating our life in France. We got married in my home town church, held the marquee in a quintessentially English garden and French-inspired vineyard. After the ceremony, we took a little walk up the Malvern hills where we had our first date, and finished the day with Samoan tribute dances. Surrounded by friends and family from across the world, we felt truly blessed.

Ellie and Pete currently reside in France, so wanted to bring a little bit of home to their wedding. They chose the delightful Coddington Vineyard as their wedding venue filling it with pink flowers, luxury details and Samoan wedding traditions. Owners of Coddington Vineyard, Sharon Maiden and her family went above and beyond to make their day special. Their support, guidance and continuous help throughout made their wedding everything that they had dreamt it to be.Inspiration & Styling
Relaxed, family orientated and fun. Samoan tribute dances, performed to honor the Samoan culture and to welcome the bride into the family. It was an incredibly moving, both watching them dance and being accepted into their beautiful family. Someone said to us "By getting married, you've already had the perfect day and everything else is an added bonus" - This helped us stay calm, and really enjoy the little details.
Inspiration & Styling
Catherine and Andy were THE DREAM wedding photographers. We discovered them through Rock My Wedding and absolutely loved their romantic, soft and light style photography. Their professional yet gentle and warm approach made us feel so relaxed on the day. They captured every special moment, down to every little detail, and we can't help but look back at our photos and with a massive smile. They are the sweetest couple and we even stay in touch to this day.
