What Made Our Day Unique
We tried to do as many lovely hand made details as possible. I made my bridesmaid dresses so that I could get the perfect dress for each of the girls. I work in the fashion industry so was really nice to have a personal project for once. I made loads of fabric streamers and chair decorations out of scraps of fabric. A friend of mine is an amazing print designer and after I had shown her my Flamingo cake toppers she drew a cute little Love Bird sketch - I used these on my stationery and order of the day. As a surprise, the girls at work had this drawing printed on fabric and made into Pyjamas for the wedding morning (best friends ever).
Conservatory Wedding Venue
As the bride works in the fashion industry, it was only right that she put her stamp on the bridesmaid dresses, but that's not the only thing she made! Homemade touches decorated the Hertfordshire conservatory wedding venue, Hanbury Manor, from the tassel bunting to the chair back decor made from material scraps in pink and green tones to match the floral arrangements, bouquets and bridal flower crown!Inspiration & Styling
We were very keen to keep the day as chilled out as possible, we wanted It to feel like a summer BBQ and ditch any of the traditions that we didn't fancy doing. I wanted to have fun and not take it all to seriously. I knew that I was going to change into a jumpsuit In the evening so we could really party. I'm obsessed with colour - I knew I defiantly didn't want pastel or neutral tones. I don't think anyone was surprised when I picked super pink flowers :)
This couple, along with some homemade aspects, used Papier - one of our recommended suppliers - for their beautiful wedding stationery! We have a whole host of different suppliers that we love and know you will too, just click right here to take a look!
