Dark & Dreamy

I think I've died and gone to heaven. This dark and dreamy styled shoot with a loose celestial theme by Save the Date Event Stylist has got me longing for cosy nights in, decadent treats and stunning florals. The mix of black, grey and navy with delicate blush, white and copper accents is simply stunning. It's the perfect palette for brides and grooms planning a autumn/winter themed wedding. Plus who doesn't love anemones or ranunculus flowers, with both featuring in the epic oversized bouquet and floral centrepiece. Pear & Bear Photography have done a super job at capturing all the immense decor and details so you can swoon and pin to your hearts desire. I know I will be!

Concept

Anna Dunleavy: When putting together the concept for this beautifully moody, celestial styled shoot, I never dreamed the outcome would be this perfect. It's only when all the wonderful suppliers added their own individual take on this idea, that the real magic happened. The suppliers involved are some of the BEST in the East Midlands and the outcome is true testament to that.

Venue

I chose one of my favourite Nottinghamshire venues, East Bridgford Hill, for the backdrop to this styled shoot. It's grand yet quirky interiors were the perfect setting for this moody tablescape. The beautiful rooms and stunning staircase had plenty of natural, soft light, ideal for the bride and groom's portraits.

Decor

With a gentle nod to the ethereal and celestial, the table was draped with dark silks and velvet, creating lots of texture. Textured plates and beautiful pink glasses really brought the styling to life, not to mention the gorgeous centrepiece floral arrangement. The greenery and dark flowers were the perfect match for the rest of the table.

Cake

The beauty of styled shoots is that all of the suppliers challenge themselves to create something unique and out of the ordinary. The stunning celestial wedding cake with layered textures is the perfect example of that.
