Inspiration

Get ready for a cracker of a December wedding with Christmas spirit, kilts and absolutely stunning halterneck wedding dress. I'd put money on you loving real bride Hollie's chic updo too. Pinning fingers at the ready!

What Made Our Day Unique

Every wedding is unique in its own right. For us, we felt incredibly honoured to have all of our loved ones together in one room, it felt so magical and surreal. The best men made Gary get up and perform a song on the guitar in front of everyone! Which was also very unique and magical in its own right. There are so many moments in the day that make it so perfect, but nothing compares to the first moment you lock eyes just before saying your vows to each other that will start the next chapter of your lives.

December Wedding

December may be one of the coldest months of the year, but oh my doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. With Christmas just on the horizon, twinkling fairy lights and roaring fires to keep you warm, it's no wonder Hollie and Gary chose this magical time to have their wedding. The beauty of a December wedding is not just for Christmas, it's there to treasure forever, especially when you have Taylor Hughes Photography behind the lens.

Inspiration And Styling

We wanted a December wedding because we both LOVE Christmas, and because of the time of year we decided to go with a Winter/Christmas theme. We couldn't resist adding a few Tartan touches to match the Groom's Kilt.

Hollie & Gary
The best part about this magical December wedding is Hollie and Gary planned it all in just under three months! They couldn't have done it without the help and sound advice of their family and friends, including - "Don't over-think about things that might go wrong. They won't, and if they do, you won't be able to do anything about it on the day (you'll also be enjoying yourself so much you won't care)." If the thought of things going wrong scares you, listen to our Podcast about Having a Plan B, it'll soon put your mind at rest.
