What Made Our Day Unique
We tried to do something vey different to the traditional wedding, but without losing the 'wedding' aspect. We wanted the wedding to be very personal to us and our story rather than what a wedding should be. Music and theatrics were a huge part of our day and we tried to put as much of 'us' into the day as possible.
Dorfold Hall Wedding
Dorfold Hall wedding venue is a Grade I listed Jacobean mansion ticked away in Acton, Cheshire. It's surrounded by enchanting countryside and history and made the perfect location for Lindsay and Daniels musical-themed day. Harry Michael Photography takes them on a tour of the grounds and captures some wonderful portraits as well as candid moments with the bridal party. Plus, we love how Daniel, in true rock star style, arrives via sports car!Inspiration & Styling
My husband and I met in a band so music was, of course, a huge part of our day. We didn't have one specific theme but instead incorporated as many elements of us and our relationship into the day as possible. My husband is a drummer so we had a drum theme running throughout, with a circular 'drum' floral backdrop as we got married and circular 'drum' floral adorned centrepieces on the tables. The table names had to be drummers surnames too of course! My husband is also Italian, so we had Italian themed favours, stationery, and little nods to his heritage throughout.
