Inspiration

The bride looked stunning in a Pronovias beaded strap dress with cowell back and embroidered veil for this intimate celebration in Cumbria. Nestled in the fernery at Ford Park, surrounded by wildflowers, this couple said their vows with their beloved pet pooch in attendance, of course with their closest friends and family too! Pastel tones were apparent throughout the day in the wedding flowers and bridesmaids who wore pale blue satin dresses from one of our handpicked suppliers - Maids to Measure! The bride made sure that the day was styled to perfection, from the wooden wedding signs, hoop bouquets and decor to the fairy lights and candles creating a super cosy feel!

What Made Our Day Unique

The wedding ceremony was actually conducted in a fernery (potting shed) set in the corner of the Coach house garden. We loved the setting which was made more ideal being surrounded by wildflowers and overlooked by the Hoad monument. We also had our dog, Archie, as ring bearer, wearing a matching suit harness to the Groom made by Tuna and Bear. It was funny during our vows as he let out a single bark just at the right moment.

Embroidered Veil

The embroidered veil was more than just another hair accessory, it was adorned in pastel floral lace and personalised with their beloved dog stitched into the bottom to make it extra special. Archie (the dog!) even attended the wedding, donning a little tuxedo harness that was made by the bride herself - this actually inspired her to start her own small business making fancy harnesses for other four-legged friends for couples who want their pets at their wedding too!

Inspiration & Styling

We really wanted a relaxed and chilled out day surrounded by family and close friends. Jenny is really artistic and knew exactly how she wanted the coach house and garden to look. Ford park gave us free rein to decorate the venue as we liked so Jenny set to work and in no time our attic was full.

Jenny undertook the task of styling the big day, and oh boy did she do a good job, it looks beautiful, all her hard work definitely paid off! The pastel tones throughout made the day soft and romantic, similar to this other beautiful wedding at Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds! rock my wedding forum
