Planning

I'm loving all the Rime Arodaky bridal separates that are gracing our pages at the moment. They are not only elegant, but incredibly stylish. The lace backs and hems truly make my heart skip a beat. Just look at all those stunning getting ready portraits captured by Life Stories of the intricate details. Bride Emilie looks absolutely stunning in her top and skirt combo, matching the bohemian theme of this outdoor wedding near Paris perfectly. Completing her bridal look with a delicate gypsophila flower crown and fabulous Valentino Rockstud shoes. I'm also blown away by all the white botanical blooms adorning the outdoor ceremony arch, tables and displays. And how can I not mention that rustic, feather table plan. If you haven't clapped eyes on it yet, trust me, you need to. Enjoy.
Emilie the Bride: We had been together for 7 years when Vincent proposed to me 2 years ago at the top of a beautiful mountain in Provence where I have spent every summer since I was little. We used to live in Paris and then we moved to the West Indies to the French Island of Saint-Martin, so we had to organise everything from there as both families live in France (mainland). We visited only 1 venue, the one : Le Domaine de La Butte Ronde located 1 hour away west of Paris. It is charming, friendly and there’s a little island where we pictured the ceremony there straight away, Emilie from the Domain was super helpful, many thanks to her.

Planning the Wedding

We were planning to come back to France only once before the wedding, so we had to meet all the vendors and set everything up. We had help from our wedding planners and stylist Les Craneuses, they also took care of the stationery, menu and invitation. They really managed to understand my inspirations : Boheme and Botanical.

My Dress

It was obviously a big deal for me :) I tried a few, going to different show-rooms but in the end it was a Rime Arodaky dress that really struck me, the quality and the design is just stunning.

Grooms Attire

For Vincent’s suit, we trusted a great Maison in Paris : Faubourg-Saint-Sulpice, I thought he looked super dapper.

Photography & Video

Yann and Vincent have been fabulous and they really delivered. We wanted something natural and they captured the best moments full of emotions. They covered everything with discretion and efficiency, even having an eye on how my dress looked. Overall, it was not that complicated to organise the wedding even though we were not in France - with Skype and emails, you can get a lot done!

Best Memories

We really wanted to enjoy every moment of our big day, as we knew the day would just fly, so we did every thing to make it smooth before and we let go on the day to just enjoy it. We are so happy to have great memories of it, memories for life! Something to change ? I dont think we would change anything, and even if it’s raining it doesn't matter at the end of the day, you’ll have fun and be married!
