Dan and Rich’s love was captured during this scenic engagement session in Cornwall on the beach (where Rich proposed!) Rock My Wedding recommended supplier, Emily Black, was able to photograph this romantic and effortless shoot. The couple met whilst working in the same school (both as English teachers), and quickly went from colleagues to friends, eventually falling for each other and moving quickly into their whirlwind relationship. We absolutely love the vibe of this engagement session; from the sea views to the gorgeous couple, each picture clearly depicts the love these two people have for one another! We can’t wait to see the wedding album…
How We Met
Richard and I happened to interview for the same job (neither of us actually got it!) but were offered different roles and became English teachers in the same school. We went from colleagues to friends by the second year of working together and by the third year started a sort of 'secret romance'. When we realised we had really fallen for each other, things moved pretty quickly and we moved in together by the end of the summer (luckily I started a new job which gave us space to grow).
Engagement Session
When planning an engagement session it’s a fantastic opportunity to pick a place that really means something to you both; the place in which you became engaged, the first date location, your sofa… literally, we’re talking anywhere. Yes, it’s fantastic to pick somewhere a little scenic, that’ll lend itself to those Instagram photos you’ll be posting, but, it can also be important to you as people. It’s also a time to find a photographer you are truly comfortable with that shares your vision, not only that, find someone who understands you both as a couple! You won’t regret it.Proposal
