A beautifully classic Fanhams Hall wedding with an abundance of Cherry Blossom trees and hoop bouquets for the bridesmaids. The day was traditional with a modern twist, including a tree-planting ceremony in which the couple planted a rose bush next to a plaque with their names on, so they could always come back to the place they said 'I Do', how romantic!
WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
"We got to plant a rose bush in the grounds of our venue! We got to choose the colour of the rose bush prior to the day and we chose white as I had white roses in my bouquet. On the day, we got taken away during the drinks reception to plant it (I say WE but Tom did all the hard work!) and got to put a plaque beside it with our names and wedding date on, so that we can always identify it as ours. It was such a lovely part of our day and we love that we can always go back to see it!" - Courtenay & Tom
Fanhams Hall Wedding
A Jacobean venue decorated with an industrial edge style for this gorgeous Fanhams Hall Wedding. The staircase was dressed to perfection with flowers, foliage and candles by the talented Halo Blossom. The bride wore a Riki Dalal dress with 1920's fan detailing, there were giant Mr & Mrs balloons and it was all topped off with a singing surprise from a west end star!INSPIRATION & STYLING
"Our vibe was kind of a modern twist on traditional. The venue was Jacobean (so very old and classic in decor) yet we went down quite an industrial-chic route for styling, with lots of copper/rose gold, geometric shapes and grids and lots of greenery. My dress had 1920s fan detailing on it, yet it was super modern in style with its plunge front/open back/mermaid skirt and Tom wore a tux but the jacket was velvet! We added little fun touches too, like alcoholic lollies for favours, drinks tokens for each guest and we had a selfie mirror and saxophone player in the evening!" - Courtenay & Tom
