The bride looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder mermaid wedding dress and flat wedding shoes against the lilac wisteria backdrop. The May bank-holiday celebration started off with a cute outdoor ceremony which was followed by a barn reception with rustic decor. Blush and lilac flowers littered the room (some in milk churns!), there was a semi-naked wedding cake and it was all topped off with romantic draping fairy lights. The 14th century Tythe Barn, Bicester, was the perfect venue choice for this couple's celebration, it oozes character with the exposed beams, it is just such a gorgeous venue - which is why they are one of our handpicked suppliers!

What Made Our Day Unique
The atmosphere. It was all about love, fun, laughter, good food and drinks. Spending time with the people we love means the most to us, so we wanted our day to reflect that! One of my favourite moments was walking down the outdoor Wisteria covered aisle with the sun shining on all our loved ones, hear 'The One' by Kodaline playing through the speakers, and my future husband waiting for me!
Flat Wedding Shoes
Chloe found her dress (unexpectedly) in Web2b and had it altered to be exactly how she wanted. It was a figure-hugging mermaid silhouette with Bardot neckline, which she looked stunning in. She also found her earrings on sale for £2 in Topshop and wore flat wedding shoes for comfort. She was flanked by her bridesmaids in embroidered ASOS dresses and together the bridal party looked fierce.Inspiration & Styling
We wanted our day to reflect us. Nothing too fancy or OTT. Chilled and fun vibes all the way: From garden games, burgers for lunch and VW campervan as our transport. We didn't put any pressure on decision making or set ridiculous expectations. We used local and recommended suppliers as well as friends and family as much as possible. My mum made the flowers and my mother-in-law did the table plan!
