Inspiration

Boho and beautiful was the order of the day for this wedding at Nettlestead Place, with a marquee filled with romantic dusky decor, a floral backdrop and a delicious personalised favour table. The bride chose an off the shoulder lace dress that fitted the theme perfectly, flanked by her six bridesmaids who were wearing pink bridesmaid dresses with a cowell back. A few surprises throughout the day kept all the guests (and even the groom!) on their toes and entertained!

What Made Our Day Unique

The theme of the wedding was Boho and Beautiful. Coming from the venue decor industry I knew I wanted to choose a theme that matches the decor we like and that was different from the norm. I love the venues that surround Nettlestead place, the gardens are well kept and the flowers are beautiful. For our guests and the groom, there were a few surprises throughout the day, the singing waiters added surprise and the glitter booth added the fun element! Everything was personalised to make our day special and unique.

Floral Backdrop

A floral backdrop, peacock chairs and pampas grass are just a few of the details that were included in this blush wedding to make it super pretty. Nettlestead Place was the perfect venue to host this boho celebration and with wedding decor at their fingertips from the family hire business, J's Perfections, it was bound to be a stunning affair!

Inspiration & Styling

The inspiration for the day was boho and beautiful. I had a tipee area for the children we had at our wedding. The flower design I had envisioned for the geometric stands were to be big and full of eucyliptus and greenery with a hint of pampus grass. Pampus Grass was used throughout the wedding, it was incorporated in the bridesmaid bouquets, the moon gate, the bridal arch, the backdrop arbour and the centre pieces. The pampus grass along with the King Protea flowers and nude/sage/blush pallet gave the Boho vibe and feel I wanted to create.
