Inspiration

This day was all about the bright colours, relaxed vibes and the flower crown for bride and bridesmaids in the South of France. Stunning peony bouquets and bright mismatched bridesmaid dresses made for a vibrant day. Hiring the villa for a few days meant the build-up to the wedding was spent with their nearest and dearest, who also helped to make a lot of the decor including bunting, napkins and the clementine gin that was served on arrival! Everything was DIY for this day, transported in their own cars from Yorkshire and Oxfordshire! And we don't think there was a better choice of photographer for this celebration, Story + Colour (one of our handpicked suppliers) captured this day so wonderfully!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"It didn’t feel like just a day! We were lucky enough to have the villa for 5 days so we could share the lead up to the big day with our friends and family and even have a pool party and BBQ the day after! Everyone really invested in the weekend which made the day itself incredibly special for us. Our friends and family made the clementine gin we served on arrival, the napkins our guests used, the bunting, all the signs, all the floral displays, my hair and make-up…the list is endless!" - Collette & Robbie

Flower Crown For Bride

Every detail of the day had been carefully considered, from the peony bouquets, ribbon bunting to the gorgeous flower crown for bride. Pink and orange hues were evident at every turn, everything was bought together beautifully, even the gin fitted with the bright colour scheme! A beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gardens of a French villa with wine from local vineyards to accompany the day, although the couple didn't forget their Yorkshire roots with their choice of gin tipples.

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"We just envisaged the day being really chilled with sunshine, great music, delicious food and local wine and hoped that would be a winning combination…and it was! I wanted lots of colour with the main one being coral alongside lots of greenery, brass antique candlesticks, long rustic wooden tables and antique rugs. We also provided sun hats and wooden fans to keep everyone cool – they were a hit! We couldn’t completely forget our Yorkshire roots either so served our favourite Yorkshire gins alongside wine from local vineyards and local beer." - Collette & Robbie
