Inspiration

Photographer Marcos Sánchez has long been a RMW crush, capturing couples and their days to perfection. Todays Barcelona wedding is no exception with its natural tones, incredible fashion and stunning floral arrangements. We'd be surprised if you don't pin it within an inch of its life. Hands up who's also scouring the web to source their own pearl hair slides after seeing real bride Sinead's beautiful accessories? I know I am!

What Made Our Day Unique

We wanted to celebrate WITH our friends and families. We love hosting dinner and drinks FOR THEM, so this was an opportunity for us to do this on the biggest scale possible. Because we already have our little girl Edie, it felt very special for us to come together and unite our family. She is our world and although we already have a special bond because of her this sealed the deal for us!

Flowers For Wedding

I couldn't wait to choose flowers for my wedding. There are so many varieties, in an array of different hues which can really complement your chosen colour scheme, theme and decor beautifully. Sinead & Bradley enlisted the help of Best Day Ever's floral talents to bring their natural vision to life. Taking inspiration from the gorgeous natural stone of Almiral de la Font wedding venue, they used dried palm leaves, orchid and roses in natural and blush tones and are some of the prettiest flowers for a wedding we've ever seen.

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted everyone to party, laugh, sing, dance and just not have to worry about anything! We really nailed that!! The themes started as being very earthy, ecological N natural. We gave Yolanda this brief and let her run with it. It was totally the right thing to do as we have very similar tastes. Every time she showed me something it was just a straight-up, Yes! We started planning our wedding two years earlier and she changed everything as the fashions changed, which was brilliant for us as we knew she had everything covered and left us to worry about all the other stuff!

Last year we predicted 'pampas grass' as a 2019 wedding trend, and this year we're seeing lots of dried palm leaves. So if you're looking to add a tropical vibe to your wedding and need further inspiration, look no further than Imanol & Miquel's Barcelona wedding. And if you're unsure where to start with planning your own destination wedding, listen to our Destination Weddings and Where to Start Podcast, where Becky and Charlotte are joined by real bride Love Cloth Blog who was in the midst of planning her own wedding abroad.
