Prepare to be well and truly enchanted by this secret garden ceremony at Garthmyl Hall, featuring a bespoke wedding dress by Rock My Wedding, recommended supplier, Emma Beaumont, plus, pastel pink peonies, burgundy dahlias and a whole lot of love. The bride also designed the gold foil wedding stationery which matches the gold cake trolly, cutlery, and candlesticks and adds a touch of luxury to this pastel palette. Capturing all these wonderful wedding day moments and details is incredibly talented Jo Bradbury Photography.

What Made Your Day Unique

"We were lucky enough to get married in an epic walled garden in an outdoor ceremony. We chose to have a summery Porto Cruz & tonic reception on the lawn for something a bit different and as a nod to my Porto Hen Do (Luckily Leigh also loved the drink!). We wanted a fun and relaxed atmosphere so we had a Brazilian banquet rather than a 3-course meal and it worked really well. We also had a makeup station in the evening for glitter and makeup top-ups which brought the party vibes! We finished the night partying in the venue's very own cellar bar until 4.30 am as we didn't want the day to end!"

Garthmyl Hall

Garthmyl Hall was the perfect country house venue for this summer wedding. With the gorgeous couple taking full advantage use of the breathtaking grounds, saying I do at an outdoor ceremony in the walled gardens under the stunning wrought iron gazebo. They then enjoyed a Brazillian banquet in their marquee reception filled with pink peonies, eucalyptus and coloured candles.

Inspiration & Styling

"The tone of the day was set by the stunning venue. Garthmyl Hall is beautifully classical with quirky features- which is what drew us to it in the first place. We wanted to reflect this in our styling so we mixed romantic elegance with a more contemporary touch of luxe across our stationery, table and feature décor. We combined vintage brass candlesticks with modern deco designs and brought in soft blues, burgundy and blushes with white marble and lots of greenery. We actually took colour and design inspiration from our lounge where Leigh proposed. It informed the whole colour scheme of the day- even the cake matched the colour of our walls!"

Wedding Dress

"I tried on over 100 dresses but I just didn't get that feeling. I eventually found a dress I loved in London but it was way out of my price range! Then I found the amazing Emma Beaumont on Instagram and through a friend's recommendation. I met her and realised she was going to be able to create my dress only better and totally bespoke to me! We went several times for fittings and to choose fabrics and the whole experience was really unique. I couldn't have been happier with my dress and veil and it is one of a kind!"
