Wedding Fashion & Beauty

A shift in the way love is celebrated on wedding days is in the air. It's becoming oh-so-much more fun and frivolous and we like it. We’re looking to iconic love symbols in new ways and our focus is on the classic red rose and pairing it with grounding black, sweet peachy pinks and clean whites. With a little nod back to the care-free, cooler days of the rocking 60s with bridal tailored suits, slip dresses and polka dot veils then cool as embroidered denim jackets thrown on for a super modern bridal look. Hair was loosely waved then tucked neatly for a second look and make-up was kept very clean and fresh for our girl. Our Grooms look is also easy with a fuss-free clean white tee and simple cut black suit.

Inspiration & Styling

There are monochrome blacks and off-whites through the design and lots of sweet baby pink with red through the florals in a mix of roses, carnations, ranunculus, gypsophila, luxe orchids and black tie leaves. A large black grid frame was our ceremony focal with clear acrylic chairs and white plinths all with luxe and very considered floral placement. An all pink hanging cloud from a black frame over our sweetheart tablescape of baby pink linen, central framed dish arrangement, slick candlesticks, bright and fun stationery and all-black place settings with tinted black glassware is a daring and exciting tablescape for the couple who want to do things a bit differently. We used a duo of cakes - one baby pink with painterly modern patterns picked up from the stationers' style and a more grown-up textured black stack too.
