Inspiration

This modern minimalist affair with a sophisticated palette of green and white with Pinterest worthy floral hoops is going to be right up your street. Guests ate Mauritian, Nigerian and Caribbean food, the Bridesmaids wore modern jumpsuits and the most stunning Bride and Groom married with their adorable daughter as a flower girl.  Photographed by The Curries, Justine and Mike couldn't look any hotter! Justine wears a 'blow the budget' Vicenta dress by Pronovias and her mothers '70s veil. Mike wears a delicious emerald green velvet Gieves & Hawkes blazer. Needless to say, they both look sensational. Trinity Buoy Wharf in London has graced our pages before and has so many great locations for photo opportunities. Whether you have a larger budget like this pair or, a smaller spend limit you can take so much inspiration from this beautifully styled wedding.

Trinity Buoy Wharf and Decor Choices For A Modern Minimalist.

Justine, the bride, was uninspired by lots and lots of blooms so chose to focus on foliage with touches of white flowers.  Beautiful centrepieces with geometric terrariums with mini succulents and hanging hoops from the ceiling are used, creating a modern minimalist style of decor. Justine The Bride: Our theme was ‘Modern Minimalist’ I like to be a tiny bit outside of the box but do still love a really polished look.

Bride and Groom's Fashion, Vicenta Dress By Pronovias and Emerald Green Gieves & Hawkes blazer.

I ended up blowing my budget by selecting the Vicenta dress by Pronovias – my sister and I absolutely fell In love with the epic train. My family managed to track down the veil my mother wore in the '70s. I insisted Michael wear an emerald green velvet blazer… after many months of googling (and convincing) we found a beautiful Gieves & Hawkes blazer.  Michael is Yoruba, therefore we did change into traditional Yoruba outfits as did our extended family. It was a really beautiful array of colours and great to show my side of the family Michael’s culture, which they absolutely loved.

Bridesmaids In Dark Green Jumpsuits From AQ/AQ.

I was set on having something non-traditional for the bridesmaids. I searched far and wide, purchased many, many, many jumpsuits and finally decided on these stunning dark green jumpsuits from AQ/AQ. I am so glad I did. The girls looked absolutely smashing and they received loads of compliments.
