Inspiration

A rustic wedding full of traditions at The Oak Tree of Peover with dusky pink bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with the gypsophila bouquets, two gorgeous bridal dresses and the most perfectly styled decor. Every detail of this spring wedding has been carefully thought through and looks so delicate and effortless, from the wooden pallet order of the day to the deliciously decorated naked wedding cake.

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"We wanted a rustic wedding with a laid back feel to it. I had an idea of what I wanted - rustic but at the same time pretty with lots of flowers and gold/rose gold hardware with a dusky pink theme. We discussed what we wanted with Victoria from Lily Rose Events and she really delivered as we were so happy with the end result. We wanted our wedding to be intimate and personal. We only invited family members and some of our very close friends, and that made it very special. " - Debbie & Aaron

Gypsophila Bouquet

I’m sure you will agree that the bridesmaid's gypsophila bouquets are so simple and perfect at this wedding! Such a dreamy combination paired with the bride's beautiful arrangement of roses put together by Lily Rose Events who is also responsible for the decor at this rustic wedding. The bride wore a classic ivory dress by Watters Wtoo to the reception with a beautiful pair of Jimmy Choo's tucked underneath and then changed into a statement gold glitter gown for the evening's events, the groom also looked very dapper in a three-piece suit from Ted Baker .

ADVICE FOR FUTURE COUPLES

"Start early and really have some fun along the way! Book the important things first like venue, photographer, and videographer (if you are getting one). I have been told multiple times that I am apparently such a laid back bride... I didn't purposely try to be that, but I think having the mindset that at the end of the day this is your special day, and you only get it once so try to be in the moment and enjoy every bit of it! Even if things don't go to plan, it doesn't matter as it's your day and anything goes! Besides, people honestly don't know that things weren't actually supposed to happen that way" - Debbie & Aaron

This couple wanted to create a simple and rustic style for their big day which paired beautifully with the wooden beams at The Oak Tree of Peover who played host to this celebration. Using natural resources for decor like the wooden pallet sign can really help keep things within that rustic theme! We have a really simple way to make a DIY pallet sign which is a super-easy way to add a personalised touch to your day! rock my wedding forum
