Inspiration

A custom made Emma Beaumont bride dress for this gorgeous Hafod Farm wedding in Wales. Chalkboard and acrylic signs welcomed the guests to the rustic barn ceremony that was decorated with candles and the aisle lined with foliage. The groom donned a classic tuxedo as he waited for his bride to arrive at the Welsh wedding venue. Following their exchanging of vows, the couple and their guests made their way to the wedding breakfast in an equally characterful space where the bride had used pampas grass, foliage and macrame to decorate the space as well as blush florals to match the bridesmaid bouquets and dresses. The couple really wanted to create as little waste as possible from their big day, so many of the items they used to decorate their wedding such as the macrame hangings, neon sign and Persian rugs are now displayed in the couples home, a lovely daily reminder of their special day!

What Made Our Day Unique

We had done a lot of travelling during our relationship prior to getting married, so we wanted to be wed somewhere as special as some of the places we had been without making our family and friends travel too far. We chose Snowdonia National Park and incorporated the location into our day as much as possible. Our wedding venue was situated within the park with a view of the mountains, my dress was designed with appliqued ferns that are found all over the park and we left the venue for an hour to go for a walk to watch the sunset behind Snowdon (after changing into wellies!). The best part about this is that we can go back every year on holiday and relive it!

Hafod Farm

Hafod Farm is a rustic venue located in the Snowdonia National Park. Stunning scenery and 16th-century buildings provided the perfect backdrop to this couple's special day making for some truly beautiful portraits. The soft tones of the flowers and natural decor that Ellis & Josh chose really complemented the natural beauty of the venue and its breathtaking surroundings.

Inspiration & Styling

We tried to make the day as relaxed as we could, for us the most important aim of the day was to celebrate our love for each other with our closest friends and family. It was a very DIY wedding but I didn’t want it to look that way, I wanted it to look styled without the huge pricetag! Our biggest achievement was getting everything we wanted without breaking the bank.
