Spring is here, and with it, it brings the smiliest, most loveliest couple Helen & Rob, and their classic pub wedding in the city. Absolutely busting with bright blooms from floral genius Joanne Truby Flowers, including season favourites peonies and ranunculus. Capturing all the sunny sweetness is the lovely Ann-Kathrin Koch who certainly put this couple at ease and brought out the best in them, as well as capturing all the pretty for you to swoon over and pin.

Ann-Kathrin Koch the Photographer: Helen and Rob are quite possibly the most happy couple I have ever seen. There wasn't a single moment on their wedding day where I didn't see a giant smile over their faces. And they were right to be so happy - it was a glorious sunny day in May in London. Helen adores flowers and wanted a bright and fun colour scheme which was made up of a medley of shades including hot pinks, purples, burgundies, corals and yellows mixed with hints of lighter blush tones to bring in a softer romantic edge. Helen and Rob live in Greenwich in London and wanted their wedding to have a local feel whilst reflecting the traditional Naval vibe of Greenwich. With their friends and families being equally as happy as these two, laughter filled the sun filled rooms of the old traditional Naval pub Trafalgar Tavern on the banks of the Thames. Joanne Truby Floral Design: Helen adores flowers and wanted a bright and fun colour scheme which was made up of a medley of shades including hot pinks, purples, burgundies, corals and yellows mixed with hints of lighter blush tones to bring in a softer romantic edge. With it being our biggest wedding to date we flowered EVERY WHERE from large urn arrangements and pew ends for their ceremony in the church to a mix of tall gold trumpet centre pieces, short gold hurricane vases, the fire place and alcove were adorned with florals. We created a backdrop of hanging foliage hoops, a foliage stair case, bouquets, flower crowns, flower bracelets for each of her nearest and dearest friends (such a lovely idea) and even the lights above the bar weren’t left untouched! It was EPIC!
