Inspiration

Start your day in the most joyful way with this seriously sweet wedding; I honestly think it may make my heart burst. Bride and groom, Jacqueline and Sheldon, got engaged seven years ago in Santorini, on a night when there was both an earthquake and a lunar eclipse! Jump forward almost a decade - and a house and two children later - and here we are on their wedding day: a day that could not be more delightful. For a start, we have a high street wedding dress. All the heart eyes. For seconds, we have a pub venue. So fun! And for thirds, we have the cutest flower girl and page boy, who fill this day with utter wonder. There are so many magic moments captured in this album, but do keep an eye out for my favourite photo, that of the couple's five-year old daughter jumping to catch confetti on the steps of Old Marylebone Town Hall. Picture perfect.

The Vibe Of Our Day

The ethos of our day was relaxed, fun and vibrant. We didn't have a particular theme, but just wanted to make sure it was 'us', so had lots of succulents and pot plants as our table decorations, and a gorgeous selection of wild flowers with pops of colour, provided by the Urban Flower Company. We had a mixologist making amazing cocktails for the adults, and party boxes and balloons for the kids. We did a pub quiz, with lots of embarrassing moments and photos of us, and had a ‘Til Death Do Us Party light sign for the evening as well as a pink ‘Donut Leave Me Hanging' doughnut wall, which Jacqueline made.

High Street Wedding Dress

All brides want to look beautiful on their wedding day, but that no longer means forking out a fortune for bridal designers if you don't want to. Blushing bride Jacqueline is a vision in Whistles – yes, that’s right, this stunning wedding dress is from the high street. With its lovely lace detail, high/low hem and dreamy Bardot neckline, you would not know that this gorgeous gown - named Rose (so romantic) - cost less than £600! Teamed with a pair of sparkly silver high street heels (Cady by Kurt Geiger) and simple diamond stud earrings - one with an 'S' for Sheldon! - Jacqueline looks like the bride we all want to be. And with her groom feeling every inch himself in Nudie jeans (which he confesses he wears to death), and her minis looking adorable in Zara (an adult-sized version of that flower girl dress would not go amiss in my eyes!), they truly are wedding party goals. Gorgeous.

Favourite Moment Of Our Day

It's hard to pinpoint our most memorable moment, but saying our vows at Old Marylebone Town Hall was really special. We just had a few close friends and relatives with us, and it was very relaxed, with lots of giggles and a few funny moments from the kids. Our secret first dance to a song that we put into the playlist – 'I Promise' by When in Rome – was a highlight, whilst finding our flower girl (our five-year old daughter) fast asleep in the teepee at the end of the day was so sweet!
