Planning

If you’re looking for somewhere a little unusual to hold your wedding ceremony, then let me introduce you to The Stack. A converted 19th Century Cornish Engine house set in the idyllic hamlet of Trelion, Cornwall, it really is a magical place to have an intimate, house party style wedding for up to 40 guests. Getting ready in the Princess bathroom is a dream come true and you’ll feel so well rested after sleeping in one of the ridiculously comfortable beds. The grounds are completely private, overlooking the stunning Cornish countryside and boast gorgeous crumbling stone walls under which you can hold your humanist wedding ceremony, surrounded by nothing but the sound of birdsong and your friends and family. Following the ceremony, drinks on the lawn are essential and you’ll find just the perfect amount of space here for guests to wander and mingle, without feeling miles apart. There’s room for a small marquee if you want to host a sit down meal or you can keep things more relaxed with a BBQ or pizza cooked in the pizza oven. The kitchen is always the centre of any party, and a wedding is no exception! This one is cosy, inviting and just begs for guests to spill out onto the terrace, where they can have a dip in the hot tub if they wish.
The house can accommodate six people and more guests can stay locally at Trebudannon where you’ll find a cluster of cottages and houses with a similar industrial stylish vibe. There is parking in the field next door for up to 20 cars, or transport services can be arranged. The Unique Home Stays team are au fait with providing a five star service to their holiday guests and their wedding clients can expect the same service - nothing is too much trouble. They can recommend fabulous suppliers for every aspect of your big day. If a private, relaxed intimate wedding in Cornwall where you take over a beautiful home for the weekend sounds like something you’d adore - then do get in touch. And if you’d like to read more about the interior design of The Stack then visit Rock My Style, where we’re chatting to Jess the interior designer who worked on the project.
