Inspiration

Today we're taking you to RMW recommended wedding venue, Iscoyd Park, but probably not as you've seen it before. Amongst Iscoyd's gorgeous grounds, they have renovated a coach house, which was the location for this divine editorial, photographed, planned and styled by Vanita Life and By Chenai. Together, they mix romantic florals and candles with contemporary stationery and signs. Plus, include stylish bridal looks and wedding gowns by Emma Beaumont, to show you how to have an intimate wedding without compromising on the details.

Vision

An elegant yet modern editorial based around the beautiful designs from Emma Beaumont and the industrial vibe of Iscoyd Park.

Decor & Details

For floral element, we wanted to have a powerful statement, whilst still being understated. The quality and colour of the flowers chosen really had the ultimate impact of creating the desired theme for the day. Kate, from Agnes and Bee, foraged additions and paired them with British and imported flowers to create a unique aesthetic that blended well with the whole venue as well as the theme and added a touch of Mediterranean. The cake queen, Suzanne from The Frosty created a spotted effect cake as part of her new sister company, Union Cakes. Again, a simple design with delicate sugar artistry was uncomplicated yet striking in every way. Sticking with the tradition of welcoming your guests to your wedding and making you feel at home, we chose the exquisite and uber-modern designs from EYI Love Studio to create the signage for the ceremony and the stationery suite, alongside drinks signage.

Styling

The suppliers involved in finer details added finishing touches of elegance with gold details and Mediterranean ambience all pulled together by myself and Chenai of By Chenai, London Wedding Planner with an eye for detail and refined textures. Chenai was fundamental to the shoot and I couldn’t have done it without her. She really pulled my vision together and structured our whole day around every important element of a whole wedding day, the way a true planner should do.

Iscoyd Park

Iscoyd Park will always hold a special place in our hearts, it was the location for our wedding planning book, Your Day Your Way published in 2017. Since then the Georgian family-owned home in Shropshire has renovated the coach house to form an intimate space full of character with exposed bricks and large windows. Wedding planner By Chenai and photographer, Vanitas Life, have complemented the space with romantic flowers and candlelight, plus, contemporary signs and stylish wedding fashion enhancing its distinctive character, and we love it!

Wedding Fashion

Our bride’s day look was a playful dress from Emma Beaumont with detachable puff cuffs and showed just a touch of mid-rift. Young, energetic and fun, the perfect dress for the young millennial bride. We paired this with the only the suit that should be worn alongside an Emma Beaumont gown, the tuxedo from Whitfield and Ward. Added touches of cufflinks, the models own watch and a crystal glass of whisky, the look oozes refinement and indulgence. During the end of the evening, we created an effortless look with the bride. We chose the silk halter from Emma Beaumont which emanated Meghan’s understated evening wedding gown and by adorning her shoulders with a beaded fringe jacket from Emma Beaumont and loosely pinned hair.

Bridal Look

Hair was such an important element in the shoot as we wanted to create multiple looks for day and night. Our bride is the type of women to have two dresses designed and made especially for her. Vicky, our hair specialist, wanted to complement the styling of the shoot with two relaxed looks. A mixture of the sleek ponytail with pearl embellishment handcrafted by herself, a strong yet simple look which worked beautifully with pearl chains as a pony wrap. The evening look was created using relaxed beach waves in the bride’s hair which created individual ombre effect pearls which worked magically with the evenings dancing shots. The bride's makeup was effortless and natural, maintaining the bride’s natural skin colour and glow and accentuating her best features.
