Jenny and Fanis are just completely adorable, so stylish and their photoshoot turned into an actual wedding proposal, so I couldn't resist sharing their beautiful images with you. I'm a sucker for a love story, especially one that takes place in the sunshine ;) Fanis managed to surprise Jenny with the ring while they were enjoying have their photographs taken by good friends, Laura and Tommy at Lato Photography. It's such a special moment to have captured on film. Good job Jenny was looking gorgeous in a chic black ensemble complete with floral crown. Whether you're having an engagement shoot or not, I think we can all enjoy the gorgeousness of Santorini and revel in Jenny and Fanis' lovely images...let's dive in shall we? Apologies in advance for the wanderlust and wardrobe envy viewing this post will cause!
Jenny the Bride: Fanis and I decided to have our engagement session in Santorini. We are wedding photographers and we have been there few times for other couples, we always thought this is a very fascinating island, so we planned to have some days off from work, at the end of the wedding season to relax and enjoy the warm weather. We were spending our time there with a couple of friend, Laura and Tommy, and we asked them to take some portraits of us. I decided to have hair and make-up done before the shoot. We always are behind the camera so that was a great chance for us to have some nice photos of us from very good photographers. I also decided to have some flowers in my hair and Jenny (from Flowery) did and amazing crown with small light roses, I loved that!
But the most exciting moment of the day was when Fanis proposed to me. I was really really surprised! We were near a little white church on a rock and he had a wonderful rubin ring from My Golden Age with a colourful bouquet. He asked Amalia (Poema Weddings and Events) to help him on this and she really made an amazing job. I absolutely didn’t expect this! A special set-up for a very special moment. We’ll never forget that day, the light was really warm and we could enjoy a very romantic sunset at the very edge of the rock, with the view of the whole island. A breathtaking view!
