Inspiration

You can literally feel all the love and happiness oozing out of the captures by Katie Ingram Photography at this festival wedding in Wales. From each family hug and candid moment with friends you'll be dreaming up your own boho chic day in a field. The bridal party look gorgeous in different powder blue dresses and matching wellies and I love the layers and layers of organza on bride Jenny's gown. Not to be forgotten is groom Seb who looks effortlessly dapper in a navy suit teamed with a crisp white shirt and tie. There's not may wedding parties that could pull off such a refined look in such a laid back location, but these gorgeous folks have done it perfectly. If you're already missing the weekend and looking to cure your Monday blues, this wedding is the ultimate remedy. Enjoy.

Wedding

Katie Ingram the Photographer: As Seb & Jenny are both free loving spirits I just knew they would be amazing to photograph for. I met with them both earlier on in the year to visit the venue, and I instantly understood why they both enjoyed spending any spare moment they had at Happy Valley. Happy Valley on the welsh coast is where Jenny grew up and is her Nans secret hide away. With Jens Nan being poorly over the last few years she wanted to pick somewhere which she meant a lot to her and the family. Since the first time she brought Seb to the cottage he fell in love with it, and together they couldn’t imagine anywhere else to say ‘I do’.
Remote locations in Wales come with their challenges, and with the combined effort of neighbouring farmers & friends they created and hosted the most memorable and magical wedding. Their aim was to bring the families together, and for everyone to emerge themselves in pure happiness! (which they did) Jen really wanted to keep her Nans memories alive, and share with her nearest and dearest the magic it has to offer. I had the great privilege of catching a lift on a neighbouring farmers quad bike to explore the area with a birds eye view. I caught the last of the sun, and it really was breath-taking. The gorgeous sunset views were a real highlight for me, and was later topped by their outdoor dusk first dance surrounded by their families loving gaze. (I could have cried a thousand happy tears for them.) I’m sure the pictures will speak for themselves; they ooze love and happiness, so pure and effortless.
