Jesus Peiro 2014 Seams Collection

I don’t know how you lovelies choose your W-day gown, I really don’t. There was quite enough choice when I was in the market for the ultimate frockage and now there are just so many beautiful dresses, it must be at least weekly (ok um…maybe daily) that Lolly and I can be exclaiming “Oh I would LOVE to try that on!!”

When a new designer collection drops into the RMW inbox it’s a bit like window shopping at a very fancy department store, you realise you can look but are no longer the right customer for such finery.

And that makes us a bit sad.

So instead we live vicariously through you gorgeous lot and love to hear what you will be wearing for the big day….or simply what you have your eye on.

This afternoon we’re sharing Spanish Bridal fashion house Jesus Peiro’s 2014 Seams Collection, a RMW favourite renowned for their simple yet chic designs.

I have already chosen at least five gowns that make me want to say “I DO” all over again, just so I could have the opportunity to strut one down the aisle.

(Same man obviously.)

Inspired by the tradition and history of the dressmaking atelier, the collection celebrates 25 years of cutting-edge haute couture under the Jesus Peiro brand.

Reflecting the current trend toward simplicity and minimalism, the Seams Collection is a fusion of design between the fabric and the line. Moving away from the richness and intricate detailing of embroidery, damask and embossing, to light and airy fabrics such as tulle, organza and gauze, the collection is the perfect balance of slender, willowy silhouettes and big volumes.

Accessories and details are the artisan elements that infuse the gowns with touches of dressmaking; white detailing imitates the reels of thread or the seamstress’ chalk markings while the black ribbons represent the structure of the mannequins, the pins and trimmings.

The Seams Collection express 25 years of dressmaking perfection and commitment, paying tribute to the meticulous work of the Jesus Peiro team in delivering unique, impeccable gowns time and again.

To celebrate the launch of Jesus Peiro’s 2014 collection, Morgan Davies Bridal is hosting an exclusive Spanish Soiree event in collaboration with a handpicked selection of the industry’s finest suppliers.

Taking place from 6.30-9pm on Thursday 1 August at the exclusive North London boutique, the event offers fashion forward brides a fun filled evening to find The One for their big day.

Tickets are priced at £10 and are strictly limited to 50 places but we have FIVE PAIRS OF TICKETS to give away for free so if you fancy an evening of tapas treats, champagne and delicious dresses then drop us a note in the comment box and we’ll see what we can do.

  1. Erm…..WOW!
That first dress is absolutely divine!!!! ( and the 6th style ain’t too shabby either!!!)
Are you sure I can’t do it all over again??!!!!!!! 🙁 xxx

  2. What perfect eye-candy for this sweltering weather! I think the third one is actually what a cool summer breeze would look like if you could see it. 🙂 I’ve felt so sorry for our brides of the last couple of weekends hauling around great heavy gowns in this heat – while they of course looked gorgeous you could see after a few hours that they were tired!! These look so deliciously light.

  3. um just putting it out there but I would LOVE to go… I keep telling myself I need to kick start the dress shopping (and go while its hot) as i’m getting married in Spain and i’m pretty sure I’ll be feeling differently about dresses if I try them on in October… secondly a spanish designer for a spanish wedding couldn’t be more fitting!

  4. Wowwweeeee! So beautiful… Would love an opportunity to try on these- have tried on a few of his recent collections, love them but still yet to find ‘the one’!! Could it be that first strapless one?! Pretty pretty please xxx

  5. Just stunning! I am of the newly engaged ilk and oh so very wide eyed at this whole new world of planning a wedding I have found myself launched into. If I could just try on that dress with THAT back then may just be able to tick my first box on the way to the big day. Looks perfect for a summer wedding in New Zealand, don’t you think?

  6. Gorgeous dresses!!
My fiancé proposed to me in Spain 3 weeks ago, and although we’ll most probably get married in France, I would love to have a Spanish element to my wedding as my grand parents on my mum’s side are both from Spain (they fled the civil war when they were young and lived in France most of their lives). But enough excuses, I would love to go try these dresses on, just because they’re beautiful and that the ONE might be one of them 😉

  7. Um, me please! I’m newly engaged and have been putting off trying dress-shopping until September when my Master’s dissertation is due in, but honestly, that first dress has broken my resolve! I would LOVE to go to the Morgan Davies event and swoon over the dress in person!

  8. Oh wow, these dresses are so elegant and beautiful. I would love to get a chance to view these in the flesh as I bet they are even more divine. Plus I am still getting inspirations for my own wedding dress so would be a great opportunity to check out the new collection and hopefully fall in love and find THE dress.
