What Made Our Day Unique
The whole process started when we saw the venue and when I tried on my dress, both were the first. The first venue we visited and the first dress I tried on, and we just knew. The venue was so different to anything we had seen, it is an old bank with vast ceilings and an amazing art deco grand staircase which I could see myself walking down towards Tom. We really loved the architecture of the venue juxtaposed with the vision I had for the room which was softly structured flowers with a hint of gold and that caught the candlelight.
Jewish Blessing
Caroline and Tom had the most atmospheric Jewish blessing I have ever seen. The gorgeous Banking Hall with its incredible architecture and decor is literally mind-blowing, that's even before adding immense aisle floral arrangements, Caroline's exquisite Hayley Paige wedding dress and Carla's incredible photography skills. It was the perfect setting, but even surrounded by all this loveliness Caroline and Tom said the moment Caroline began to walk down the aisle they had tunnel vision and could only see each other. So lovely.Inspiration & Styling
We see our day in 2 halves, the grand yet personal ceremony and the “can’t stop dancing” reception. We wanted to really saviour our ceremony and make sure it represented us, so everything leant towards that. From my entrance down those amazing stairs and the long aisle, our personal vows and, my Uncle leading the Jewish blessing at the end and the amazing flowers and candles framing everything. For our reception, we just wanted to party, and our band Groove Station certainly delivered. They describe themselves as a high-octane funk and soul band. They brought the house down with their infectious energy, slick arrangement and an amazing setlist.
