If you follow our bride, Insta Famous Florist Joanna from the  Catherine Muller Flower School in London you will not be surprised to see such a cool, fun, chilled out wedding. You will be surprised to see that Joanna opted for her wedding to be a no flower zone! Yep, apart from Joanna's flower crown and groom Samir's buttonhole, there isn't a lavish instalment in sight. Read why and you will totally get it.  This beautiful pair went for a British tweed countryside wedding complete with Vintage Fun Fair! I know!!!!! In real life! It's amazing and more.  Marleybrook House is a truly special venue, completely unassuming, aside from its stunning pillar box style but the garden is complete with 20m high Sky Dancer Big Wheel!!!  Wait until you see how Joanna changed her look throughout the day and her surprise evening outfit.  Photographer and RMW regular David Jenkins is effortless in capturing real moments, natural laughter and atmosphere. Feel free to snoop here, here and here for more of David's work.

Joanna the Bride: I am Lebanese and Samir is Algerian/German, but we met and live in London so it was only fitting to celebrate our happy day here in the Uk. We thought, if we were going to have people fly in to celebrate, then it had to be something fun and different, and in came Marleybrook House. The venue was just so perfect for a day full of laughs and excitement. Even though half of the day was outdoors on a September day, we made sure the party favours included fun vintage styled umbrellas and a hangover kit to help the guests get through the evening! The wedding planning service that Marleybrook House provided was just perfect and extremely helpful. From the day we set our minds on the venue until the actual wedding celebration, they assisted us through every step of the way.

The day was just full of happy reunions, carnival playing, carefree dancing, and we were incredibly touched and humbled by everyone that made it possible.

When your childhood friend is designer Sandra Mansour and makes your wedding dress!

She is a Lebanese designer and a childhood friend of mine. I love her style and I trusted her judgement and was so happy when she agreed to design for me.

Why InstaFamous Florist Joanna Chaker of the Catherine Muller London Flower School chose not to have flowers at her wedding.

We didn’t want any flowers. Even though I am a florist and own the Catherine Muller Flower School in London, I didn't want to work on the day and we felt that if we had hired a florist, I wouldn't have been able to relax.  I just made my headpiece and my husband’s boutonnière.

The groom wore a tailored made suit by Will Mingle

Will is a Ghanian/British designer who got to know Samir, the groom, a few years back, and at this point, Will is the only tailor Samir trusts.

A countryside venue with a Vintage Fun Fair. Marleybrook House in Canterbury.

When we were looking for British countryside wedding venues, they were all lovely but they just felt too traditional. Coming from a Lebanese background, where you attend at least 4 to 5 weddings a year, they all just tend to lookalike with the same content. We wanted something fun and quirky and stumbled on Marleybrook House on Truly Quirky Wedding Venues. It was exactly what we were looking for.

All the decorative arrangements were made by Deborah Tarry at Not Just Balloons and the Marleybrook House team. All we did was send a few references, and Deborah and The Marleybrook House took care of the rest. It was super effortless and they just understood our vision. All we needed to do was just show up on the day. They took care of everything and we trusted them!

Entertainment by DJ and Band

Throughout the day music was played by the Lebanese DJ Caline Chidiac. We had worked with her before and she just understood our vibe. Extremely talented and professional.

And the live band was The Fellas through ALR music. They knew how to get people excited and the crowd going. Great voices/musicians and very happy vibes.

Sharing food provided by Anderson Caterers

We didn't want to go for a seated dinner. We didn't like the idea of forcing people to eat at a specific time so instead we opted for bowl served food and Andersons Caterers were very accommodating and delicious.

David Jenkins Photography and Ignite Films

The amazing David Jenkins. His portfolio just stood out from the rest. He was better than what I had hoped for. He managed to capture incredibly happy moments that we will cherish forever. Everyone loved him, he blended in beautifully, and his presence was very welcoming.

Ignite Films They were very kind team and professional. They stayed with us until the end!
