Inspiration

Bride Kelly is an actress and beauty is her thing. So it's no wonder this Italian destination wedding is one elegant affair. Hotel Excelsior Vittoria is so wonderfully ornate and utterly gorgeous that it didn't need much decor adding to it, but the chosen all white blooms and gold tableware look absolutely stunning in the reception room and compliment it beautifully. Such a refined look. The gold and white theme continued in the fashion with the bridesmaids donning gold Jenny Yoo gowns and bride Kelly looking absolutely breathtaking in a Reem Acra gown. The bodice is exquisite. When you take a look at the images taken by Serena Cevenini not only will you see all the attention to detail that has gone into this elegant Sorrento wedding, but you'll also be mesmerised by all the love and heart warming moments captured too. So sit back, relax and prepare to be dazzled.

Our Story

Kelly the Bride: Edward & I fell in love very quickly. He proposed to me 4 months to the day that we met & we got married 10 months later. We met March 21st, got engaged July 21st, & got married May 21st which also happened to be a full moon. We got engaged in Sorrento, Italy & decided what better place than there for our nuptials. Our closest family & friends flew out for the event & it ended up being a truly international affair. Edward & I found all of our vendors by scouring the internet. We’re both very picky people & we both have a very distinct esthetic. Fortunately, we share the same taste in most everything. Our wedding weekend came together beautifully & we are so happy that we fought to have the vendors we wanted there for our big day. Every person that was there was so special and brought their own wonderful energy to the weekend. Not that anybody asked, but if there are any couples out there reading this wanting to know any advice from somebody who just pulled off a wedding a half a world away, it would be this: 1. hire the videographer, you will black out frequently from the amount of happiness coursing through your body 2. do YOU in EVERYTHING you do. Don’t choose a florist because the planner says to, don’t choose a band because your mother says to, it is YOUR day & YOU should have your flavor in everything that is touched. That is probably the thing that Edward & I are the most proud of. Our day was OUR day through and through. OH! And write your owns vows :) You’ll be glad you did!
