WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
"We wanted our day to reflect our personalities, which I guess is “organised chaos”. We wanted people to walk in and go “wow, that is so Lottie and Ross”. We both love entertaining friends and family with dinner parties and games nights it was really important to us that our wedding day was the biggest and best party we would ever throw. The venue was key to this and the whole flow of the day took guests on a treasure-trail of romance and fun! Then there was the food. As a gluten-free food blogger @thetummydiaries we designed our own menu and ensured everything was completely gluten-free; not only so myself and our gluten-free guests could relax and enjoy the day, but also to show how delicious gluten-free food can be!" - Lottie & Ross
Kent Wedding Venue
Scream if you want to go faster! This Kent wedding venue certainly brings the fun factor to any couple’s big day, not only is it extremely idyllic with it’s thatched roof and rustic country cottage charm, it’s got its own private funfair too! "Being on top of the big spinning wheel looking down at the view of all our favourite people in the world laughing, drinking and having fun was just the most incredible feeling...I don’t think I’ve ever felt so lucky or grateful as I did then and it’s a moment I will never ever forget” - Lottie. It’s no wonder guests were feeling a little dizzy by the end of the day, too much fun on the rides or a little bit too much fizz? Whichever it was, Marleybrook House was a perfect location for this couple to say ‘I Do’.INSPIRATION & STYLING
"One of the most important things to us about our big day was to make it “fun”; we wanted faces aching from laughing so much, feet hurting from dancing too much and backs sore from bumper-car whiplash – and that’s what we got! It had a romantic vintage feel but also with some modern twists and the vintage but colourful fun-fair tied it all in so perfectly. We made almost every decoration ourselves; from gin bottle centrepieces to signs with our favourite lyrics and even the doughnut wall; and had so much fun doing so!" - Lottie & Ross
