Inspiration

Prepare to go into a floral frenzy, because oh my are the wedding flowers at this Isle of Sheppy celebration out of this world. Literally surrounding the top table with arrangements at the front and on top, and looking utterly PINtastic! There are also floral chandeliers, church floral arches and beautiful bouquets. Honestly, you won't know what to look at first. The location for all these beautiful blooms is Kent wedding venues, St. Thomas the Apostle Church and The Ferry House Inn. I bet both have never looked so good.

What Made Our Day Unique

I don't think many people think "Wedding" when they hear the Isle of Sheppey mentioned but for us, it was our first and only choice! We got married in a tiny Norman Church by the water-filled with flowers and were truly blessed to have the most spectacular weather on our Wedding day and even more blessed to have all our favourite people travel from near and far to be there and celebrate with us. We did ALOT of research beforehand and I also met all our suppliers in person before choosing them. I think its important to take the time to do this, it definitely helped us make our choices.

Brenna & Matt

Kent Wedding Venues

Not only was Brenna and Matt's fabulous Kent wedding venue, The Ferry House Inn, set in the most idyllic locations, but they were incredibly helpful recommending local suppliers to them too. This is how they found their fabulous florist Joanna and photographer Rob Power. Not only are they extremely talented, but they went above and beyond to help them capture and achieve their dream wedding. I mean those wedding flower arrangements are off the chart! I bet they smelt as good as they looked too!

Inspiration & Styling

We really wanted everyone to have a relaxed fun day full of laughter, food, booze and dancing. My main focus for styling was flowers...and lots of them! Joanne Truby did the most spectacular job. When we arrived at the Church and reception venue we were blown away by her beautiful floral creations. The whole day was incredible from start to finish but I think our joint favourite moment would definitely be when I finally arrived at the church. I was 35 minutes late so I think for Matt it was a big relief and for me it was seeing Matt and all our nearest and dearest under the one roof.
