Wedding Cermeony
We planned a simple day. We got ready together in our hotel room at the Grand Tremezzo but I didn't put on my dress so that we could have a 'first look' in the gardens. Our ceremony was under the stone arches of Ossuccio Town Hall, a very rustic atmosphere and we arrived by Venetian taxi boat. Before the formalities, we read each other a short letter but opted for the short and sweet version of the official vows. After the ceremony, we had a private dinner in the garden before moving to the candlelit terrace for dessert. We did have a swim in the spa pool to end our day, which the hotel lined with candles for us. We also stopped for gelato after the ceremony at our favourite place in Lenno.
Lake Como Elopement
Amey and Naz's Lake Como elopement is both relaxed and intimate, making the whole day about themselves and their love for one another, which is just adorable. During their trip across the lake, many people shouted their congratulations and ferries and boats honked their horns. People even approached them for days after to say they had seen them on their wedding day. What a lovely start to a lovely union.Fashion
Naz had a suit made by Taliare in Marylebone who were wonderful in recommending something that would do justice to such a lovely location. I chose a dress by Grace Loves Lace. I wanted something classic but also simple as it was an elopement after all and it needed to travel well too. I had a simple bouquet and Naz had a buttonhole of green and white flowers, made by Mario and his team on Bellagio. We took the ferry from Tremezzo to Bellagio on the morning of our wedding day to pick them up.
