Lake Como Wedding with Bride in Justin Alexander Bridal Cape

BUDGET £50 – 60K

Prepare to be well and truly wowed at this Lake Como wedding, with picturesque views and a fabulous bridal cape. Plus, coral flowers and blush bridesmaids. Real bride and groom, Lynika and Luke wanted the day to be non stop laughing, eating, drinking and dancing which is exactly what the wonderful pictures by Matt Penberthy Photography encapsulate.

“Our family and friends who joined us from all over the world. Their smiles and overall happiness made everything worth it. The weather, cliche’ as it may sound, also made it a spectacular day. The days leading up to our wedding Lake Como experienced some of the most gloomy weather – the night before it was hailing. We woke up on our wedding day to the sunniest and warmest weather! Our supplies – Wedding planner, caterers, photographer, videographer and production team were amazing and made us feel special every step of the way. “ – Lynika & Luke

Lake Como Wedding

Lynika and Luke took full advantage of the scenery at their Lake Como wedding by holding an outdoor ceremony on the veranda of Villa Regina Teodolinda. They had a gorgeous wooden altar covered in coral flowers framing their nuptials and looked absolutely breathtaking in a tuxedo and bridal cape. They continued the outdoor celebrations with an alfresco reception and speeches. And honoured loved ones no longer with them with a spectacular lantern send-off.

“The vibe of our day was a classy, fun party with a side of wedding! We wanted it to be non stop laughing, eating, drinking and dancing. We wanted a mixture of rustic meets elegant – and we got just that. We had a special tribute to our family members who were no longer with us, we released lit (biodegradable) lanterns in the lake. Trust your instinct, and don’t cut corners so you have no regrets. It’s your day and it will only happen with the same person once, so dream big. Have fun – don’t take yourself too seriously, you want to look back and see smiles on your faces! “ – Lynika & Luke

“We actually found our talented photographer Matt Penberthy via an RMW post, his work was so impressive (given that had the romantic artistic style we were searching for) we reached out immediately and secured the date with him that very day! Our Videographer, Alessandro Bordoni, was highly recommended by a friend, and rightfully so, his work is award-winning and his personality made it all the easier to decide on using him. Our wedding planner, we found on-line, after having a Skype meeting with her we immediately knew was the perfect fit. “ – Lynika & Luke
