Inspiration

This intimate Las Vegas wedding perfectly captures our motto 'Your day, Your way', The Cosmopolitan played host to this epic day which was packed with heaps of personality. It was so important to this couple to customise their day and make it extra special for their friends and family, I'm sure this included having the most delicious doughnut tower wedding cake! The bride focused her passion on creativity and added some amazing DIY touches whilst also being mindful of the limited luggage space, the beautiful faux bouquets were put together by the bride along with the bridal parties personalised denim jackets, perfect for the walk down the Vegas strip and also a great keepsake along with the bouquets after the big day. This celebration is all captured perfectly by Laura Dean Photography.

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"Although Vegas wouldn't have been our parents first choice in destinations. Vegas is really special to us, its where Mark asked me to be his girlfriend 4 years previous. Although we visit frequently being there with all of our favourite people made the day so special. Both being Cabin Crew for an international airline meant we could make our hopes become a reality on getting married in the place we love, for a fraction of the cost of a destination wedding." - Zoe & Mark

Las Vegas Wedding

This Las Vegas Wedding had less than 32 guests meaning that the bride and groom got to enjoy time with each of their guests and make great memories. To make the most of this fun location the couple and their wedding party took a short walk along the Vegas strip to the dinner venue, getting cheered and congratulated by the Las Vegas tourists added to the excitement of the day. The brides favourite film is 'My Best Friends Wedding, in specific her favourite scene is when the wedding party start singing 'I say a little prayer' whilst having dinner. The brides Made of Honour surprised the couple by re-creating this scene during the speeches and they all sang together in the middle of the Mon Ami Gabi restaurant, what an amazing memory!

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"When you say you're getting married in Vegas it produces a particular image... White chapel, celebrant dressed as Elvis... spring to mind? Although our day wasn't the typical idea you get for a Vegas wedding we still wanted our vibe to be fun yet relaxed ... Our main priority was for our guests to have a great time in the place we love. I didn't want everything to be too put together, although I love big florals, I didn't have a particular colour scheme and we just picked things that we liked. Having a destination wedding meant we had to use a mixture of recommended suppliers and ones I'd researched online. Luckily being Cabin Crew it meant we could frequently visit Vegas to make these decisions. Saying that we did actually opt for a large portion on DIYs mainly because I love being creative and making/customising/crafting things (@Studio.Drew). Although The Cosmopolitan wedding package we picked did supply a wedding photographer, his style wasn't quite what we had in mind so we decided on flying out someone we'd picked from the UK. Definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made, Laura captured our day perfectly!" - Zoe & Mark
