Inspiration

The lemon wedding decor for this Italian celebration was so understated but had such a huge impact! The minimalist wedding dress, the simple foliage that was draped over the chairs and the white wedding flowers allowed the beautiful Sorrento villa and its gardens to speak for itself. With guests travelling all the way from Australia to watch this couple tie the knot, it was important to make the most of it and the usual one-day wedding turned into a week-long celebration, including a boat tour around the Amalfi Coast for the Hen Do - wow!

What Made Our Day Unique

Family and friends (50 people) travelled from Australia to Italy - 24 hour flight - literally otherside of the world. It wasn't just a day, it was a whole week. The hens were 25 girls doing a full-day boat trip around the Amalfi coast. We started at Marina Lobra (Massa Lubrense), then went to lots of private beaches to swim. Then went to Praianofor lunch at Ill Pirata. Then got back on the boat and went to One Fire Beach Club for a few hours. Drove back to Marina Lobra while the sunset. The boys had a bucks day at a Go-Kart, pizza restaurant and bar place in Massa Lubrense called Go-Kart Park Sant'Anna. Our recovery day (the day after the wedding) was a boat trip to Capri with all 50 wedding guests. We again left Marina Lobra and went to Capri to have lunch at Torre Saracena, Capri. Then spent the day swimming in colourful grottos and swimming around the island

Lemon Wedding Decor

The fruit wedding decor certainly brought a pop of colour to the day as well as the beautiful wedding stationery. Littering the tables with the citrus fruits and foliage brought a really fresh feel to the wedding breakfast. And when the sun went down the pontoon lighting created a cosy atmosphere. A relatively small affair with 50 guests in attendance, this wedding is definitely proof you don't need a mass of people to have an amazing day!

Inspiration & Styling

CHILL. Very relaxed, very intimate, personal and super laid back. It was more like a dinner party amongst the olive trees with close friends. All the styling was inspired by Italy. The plates for example were called the Amalfi plate.
