This incredible Thailand destination wedding is going to blow your socks off. If you love to travel, then having a far flung wedding is totally possible if you enlist the help of a planner. We've featured many a stunning wedding from Thailand, and it's not as unachievable as you might think...you could be jetting off on the holiday of a lifetime too!

The Proposal

From the planners: Lianne and Tyrone married on 26th of January 2018, on the beautiful island of Phuket. Both British, they mat one evening outside a club called Shannon’s in Seven Kings. Who knew that one simple night on the town would lead to 8 years of pure bliss for the pair? So much so, in fact, that Tyrone knew Lianne was the one and decided to propose in one of the most magical ways possible.

On their 8th year anniversary, these to lovebirds were on the Glass Floor walkway on Tower Bridge in London — a gorgeous space 42 meters above the River Thames. Tyrone, in a sneaky fashion, persisted to get on not one knee, but two, making it appear as though he wanted to photograph his soon-to-be-wife.

He then whipped out a Haribo sweet in the shape of a ring and asked those 4 special words, “Will you marry me?”. With excitement in the air, the newlyweds made their way to Hatton Garden to design their rings together.

The two began to then plan their big day!

Thailand Destination Wedding

They decided that a Thailand wedding would be the perfect way in which to share their love for one another, as they both really wanted a destination wedding, and simply fell in love with the country after their visit in 2010. With the help of The Wedding Bliss Thailand, their appointed wedding planners, they stopped their choice on Villa Aye.

“We came across Villa Aye and fell in love all over again! The view is breath-taking and the Villa is stunning. We loved the open garden and the infinity pool,” said Lianne.

The Wedding Day

Liam Collard perfectly captured the incredibly festive atmosphere of the day, lots of love and laughter.

When their stunning day came around, 52 of their closest friends and family gathered at this spectacular venue. The theme of neutral, but beautiful and classy with white and gold tones really added to the ambiance and aesthetic, making it a wonderful wedding to shoot. The ceremony décor focused on natural materials

, and the altar was symbolically arranged into a semi-circle, hugging the couple while exchanging the vows. Beautiful flowers from IAMFLOWER Phuket brought to live amazingly romantic atmosphere.
When the heart-stopping moment happened, Lianne looked classically beautiful in a wedding gown from Mori Lee. In fact, she exclaimed that walking down the aisle and meeting her soon-to-be-husband’s eyes, was her favourite wedding memory. Tyronne felt exactly the same way, agreeing that it was seeing his best friend walking towards him that simply took his breath away.

The highlight of the night is definitely the couple’s first dance, with fireworks going around. Such a dazzling night for a dazzling couple!
