Patricia and Greg opted for an intimate London wedding at Linden House in Hammersmith. Patricia, who is Spanish, and Greg, from Surrey, invited 30 of their closest friends and family to celebrate with them at an intimate ceremony and a relaxed reception dinner. They planned the entire wedding in just one month and Patricia surprised Greg and her Father-in-Law as she walked down the aisle in Greg's mom's original wedding dress! Since Patricia works at Moët there definitely wasn't a shortage of champagne to cheer with. All in all a beautiful, joy-filled day captured by Alba Turnbull.

What Made Our Day Unique

What made our day unique was very simple, just being surrounded by the family and friends that love you unconditionally and of course my husband to be. It is absolutely fantastic to gather all your loved ones in one big celebration of love. Personally, in my case, was even more special as my family flew over from Barcelona, Spain. Also for some of them was the first time in the UK, so we, of course, made a weekend out of it... Simply unforgettable! One of our favourite moments was the speeches, my Dad gave a surprise speech in English and Spanish, bearing in mind that he doesn't speak a word of English which made all of us cry. I will never forget that.

Linden House

Linden House in London was the perfect backdrop for this couples relaxed and elegant day. To achieve the modern, boho style they opted for lots of floral touches including the amazing aisle decor created by Philippa from Francis Smith Flowers, such a beautiful selection of neutral roses and cotton flowers which were also incorporated into the bride's bouquet and fabulous floral crown. The bride teamed these floral pieces with a 70's vintage dress, originally trying it on for fun the bride and her mother-in-law were both amazed at how perfect it looked, after trying on a few other dress nothing compared to this special and unique dress and so the decision was made.

Inspiration & Styling

Our vibe was modern boho. We wanted something, elegant, fun, relax, cozy and beautiful of course! To achieve that, the majority of our budget was invested in flowers. Philipa and the team at Francis Smith Flowers did an amazing job and everyone loved it! I had pretty clear in my mind the style I wanted, but of course, I used Pinterest and Instagram.

Advice

After my experience of an 'express' wedding, I would say that the fewer options you choose to have the better. Really narrow it down to 2/3 max suppliers and don't overthink too much. Also, set a budget and expectations with your suppliers to make sure you make the most of your money. Last but not least, make sure you spend time together during the day, It goes super fast and at the end of the day, it's your day! Make sure you dedicate some time just the two of you- plan it otherwise, you'll get carried away.
