Intimate Wedding Dinner Party At Italian Villa

With all of this gorgeous sunshine, it feels completely apt to share a destination wedding where the bride is rocking a STRAW HAT. Yes you read that right, beautiful Lola donned the prettiest straw boater covered in blooms for her wedding day. Not only did she look super stylish, but she also protected her eyes from the bright Mallorcan sun. Win win.
Groom Virro looks rather dapper too, in a blue suit with matching blue bow tie and box fresh sneakers. Ultimately these two are total #couplegoals, with their laid back style, stunning outdoor wedding, and the fact that they are clearly made for each other is the icing on the cake. Virro is Mexican and I am French. We met in Mexico 9 years ago when we were 20 and 21! We had absolutely nothing in common but fell in love eventually ;) We have been in a long distance relationship during a year while I was finishing my studies in Europe, it was not easy at that time when we were so young and didn't even know what we were gonna do with our lives. When I graduated I finally decided to move to Mexico to give it a shot and the rest is history. We've been living in Mexico City together for 6 years now; we are not only partner in life but also in business as we built our own photography company together, and we also have a baby: an adorable little french bulldog that follows us everywhere!
Virro proposed in Mallorca which is our favorite place in the world. We go there every year during summer holidays. And so we decided to get married there as we really wanted our families and friends to discover this island we love so much! All of our guests travelled from all over the globe to be around us on this beautiful day. Everything went on perfectly and was by our side: the weather, the light, the guests (everyone we love was there with an enormous smile on their face!). And the suppliers did a very good job.
We had been planning this wedding for 1 and a half year and it was totally worth it!
We tried to reflect our two cultures and personalities in the details of the wedding and inserted several mexican elements as Mexico is where we live: we had margaritas, a piñata and mariachis, which was a lot of fun.
As photographers, the aspect of photography and video was very important to us so we hired the best videographers (according to us!) Alberto & Yago; and had to do a casting of several photographers. We finally ended choosing Javier Abad from F2Studio who has won several awards for his work.
Another big thing was the entertainment and music: we had a pianist and a singer for the ceremony, mariachis at the end of the ceremony, a rock & roll band for the cocktail, a saxofonist at the end of the dinner and then a DJ that made everybody danced until the sunrise.
We are not so traditional so we had a outdoor ceremony, I wore a hat as I love them, and Virro wore sneakers as he never wears formal shoes.
We really wanted to be ourselves on our wedding day.
