Luna Bea Bridal gown for an autumnal wedding at Elmore Court with dried flowers and rust tones

Luna Bea Bridal Gown at Elmore Court

Photography by Jacob Malinski Photography

Ok, a moment to appreciate Jess in her Luna Bea bridal gown! We absolutely love the glamorous and Parisian vibe it brings. James also looks totally sleek in forest green suit jacket from Hockerty, not to mention the Gucci accessories… this beautiful couple wanted their wedding to be fun! And due to the pandemic, they just wanted everyone to have the best time. Held at the Recommended Supplier’s venue Elmore Court, their day was completed with rich and warm colours, with a totally unstructured and romantic feel. We also love the tattoo favours!

We originally booked it in 2019 before the pandemic. Although we were extremely lucky in the sense that we didn’t have to postpone, planning it unfortunately still came with its difficulties. After what felt like a constant stress, we just wanted everyone to have the best time - and laugh lots! I tried to come up with ways to make it a little different; the styling, garden games and tattoo favours for example!

VIBE

Being in September, the theme we went for was a “Wild, Late Summer Wedding”. With rich, warm colours in a totally unstructured & romantic feel, which perfectly reflects the relaxed vibe at Elmore court. This is also how I wanted my dress and my wonderful bridesmaids dresses and accessories to be too. Organic and flowing - something that we were all comfortable in. I love how their different dresses show they’re own individual styles - they’re such a beautiful bunch!

FAVOURITE MOMENT

I think (as cheesy as this sounds), my favourite moment was of course not only tying the knot with James after such a rollercoaster run up, but just seeing all our loved ones happy, smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves. I think our photographer, Jacob Malinski has managed to truly catch how much joy and love there was in the air, which we are over the moon about. He also got this epic shot of us running in the rain - I was so worried about it being rubbish weather, but I swear it made it better!

Do. Not. Rush. If you're getting married quickly then by all means do what you gotta do, but if you have a good year or two, take your time with choosing your suppliers and finding what's right for you if you can. It's really important that you vibe well with them and you understand each other, it will make all the difference to you and your partner's day. For example, I absolutely loved getting ready in the morning because I got on with my makeup artist and hair stylist so well - they were part of the group!
