What Made Our Day Unique
All minor decorations were based around us and our story. Our table numbers were, in fact, years, not numbers, which represented a significant moment of our lives, featuring polaroids to go with it. A good friend of mine created a blackboard with all fun facts about myself and Luke, like how we met, where our first holiday was and things we have done over the years. I love it so much, it's now on my wall at home! We wanted something rustic but romantic at the same time. The shabby chic is very common now, so I wanted something more personal to us (well me!) hence lots of pinks.
Macaron Tower
If, like Rachel and Luke you aren't huge fans of wedding cake or any cake for that matter, why not opt for something a little different like their beautiful pink ombre macaron tower! It sat beautifully on Rachel's dressing table (which was made as a gift for her 21st birthday by Luke and a friend) surrounded by retro sweets in glass jars and individual biscuits and complemented the pink colour scheme perfectly.Wedding Suppliers
I searched high and low for a wedding venue and Cripps Barn was the first one we chose to view and it was love at first sight. We chose a few of their recommended suppliers - Go Wild Flowers and DJ I.am.Will. We met our ohotographer Benjamin Stuart at wedding previously. His epic personality and commitment to ensuring the bride and groom had a great time is the whole reason why we chose him. All our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about him.
Wedding Dress
My dress was a funny one. Someone at work picked out my chosen dress on the website and said it would look amazing on me. I was not keen on it at all at the time as it wasn't the style I thought I wanted. However Maddie at Bicester Bridal picked it out for me to try on also, so I thought I'd better give it ago now that 2 people had suggested it. The minute I put it on, I fell in love and instantly stopped looking! Thank you, Brittany and Maddie - you ladies know me well!
