Inspiration

We've been SO excited to share the Mallorca wedding of fashion blogger, Loveclothblog ever since she featured on our 'planning a destination wedding' Podcast. Then when we saw the dreamy captures by Chris and Ruth released and she was wearing an exquisite Emma Beaumont gown, we did another happy dance. Set in the magical mountains of Mallorca, this wedding is full of delicious details by planner Mille Papillons and moments had by all.

What Made Our Day Unique

Mallorca holds such a special place in our hearts. I had been visiting the island since I was a baby and together we've been going there for 11 years now. It was the first holiday we went on as a couple too. It was so special to share with all our friends and family, who made such an effort to travel to the island and celebrate with us. Absolutely loved having everyone there and getting to spend a long weekend together. Everything felt so effortless and relaxed. Every moment was so brilliant. I loved spending time with my bridesmaids while getting ready, it was such a relaxed morning. Sophie who helped on hair and makeup was a dream. The ceremony which was lead by our really good friend was so beautiful. It meant so much to us that he did it. Plus the readings had me in tears. The dinner as sunset was magical and we finished by dancing the night away under the stars.

Mallorca Wedding

Some of our favourite destination weddings have been in Mallorca with this Mallorca wedding joining the prestigious list too. The dreamy light, the beautiful views and our wonderful couple make every capture by Chris & Ruth Photography so special.

Inspiration & Styling

Small, intimate & super relaxed. The venue was slightly rustic, a beautiful Finca in the mountains of Fornalutx. Working with our planners Mille Papillons who we had previously seen featured on RMW and we fell in love with their style, we wanted something that complimented the surrounding but also felt more like our style which was slightly more modern and contemporary. The venue didn’t need much styling, the landscape and view was what sold it to us. The sunset on the mountains was incredible. We dressed the venue in lots of whites and greens with hints of pink and pampas grass.

Kim & Simon
Kim spent a long time trying on dresses but nothing really gave her ‘the one’ feeling so she decided to get one made! She found recommended supplier Emma Beaumont on our directory, The List, and the rest they say was history. Emma helped design Kim a truly unique gown just for her including using polka dot tulle and hand applique floral lace. And we have to say the results are absolutely stunning. If you like Emma's gowns, why not get in contact and see what she could make you...
