Mark Sherratt Photography

I’ve been full time professional photographer for 10 years and during that time I’ve taken pictures of just about everything; children, animals, weddings, celebrities, landscapes, lifestyle, you name it I’ve shot it. The one thing that has been most consistent over these 10 years has been weddings. I still remember my first…a couple took a chance on a young photographer and let me shoot their special day. Thankfully they were happy with the result! Since then I’ve probably shot close to 100 weddings. I’ve enjoyed each one. The beauty of weddings is their individuality, their uniqueness, their personality. It’s the best day of at least two people’s lives, and I feel honoured to be able to capture those moments forever.

Over the last few years, however, most of my work has been based in advertising. I’ve been shooting for brands such as Buxton Water and The Post Office, which has been great, but that hasn’t left much time for anything else, including weddings. So, spurred on by the best day of my own life last year, when I finally managed to marry the girl of my dreams, I have decided to do something about it.

My solution is to shoot just a few fantastic weddings each year for some awesome couples who enjoy my style of photography. Like everything I do, I want to give these weddings my all and so I’ve limited the number I’ll book each year to five. That way I can give the couples the attention they deserve and create a suite of photos for them that I can be proud of and that they will treasure for a lifetime. If you’re interested in being one of those five couple either this year or next then please do get in touch.
