Inspiration

You can't beat the feeling of being at home, which is exactly where Annika & Richard chose to have their gorgeous marquee wedding. They filled it with foliage, Edison bulbs and all their favourites, resulting in a joyous Summer wedding on the Isle of Wight captured by the formidable duo Jason Mark Harris and Harris Films.

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"The service was held at my family church in Bembridge, the village that I grew up in - it has so many special memories for me and my family and there is no other place in the world that I could imagine to get married to Richard. The super talented Michael G Moore played me and my Step-Dad down the aisle to an acoustic guitar version of Here Comes the Sun (the Beatles were my Dad's all-time favourite band so it only seemed right to play something in his absence.) With post-it notes and pens on every table, Michael was taking requests throughout the marquee wedding breakfast, and by the time the main course's arrived he had people up on their feet dancing and those who weren't dancing were bopping away and singing in their seats. A moment that made Richard and I so so happy to see." - Annika & Richard

Marquee Wedding

Sperry tents and marquee weddings give so much versatility. You can erect them at your favourite country house, luxury mansion or in Annika & Richard's case, their childhood home on the Isle of Wight. They are the perfect blank canvas, giving you the freedom to show your unique style and personality. Which, again, in Annika & Richard's case was absolutely jaw-dropping; full of natural wood, greenery and an epic Edison bulb installation which I'm sure you are pinning as we speak! And in true family affair style, everyone chipped in to help make their wedding dreams come true. There was even a guest appearance from their dog Audrey.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

"Our videographer Sarah Harris from Harris Films produced a truly special edit of our day and our wedding photographer & Sarah's Husband, Jason Mark Harris...well the photos speak from themselves, there are no words, he a wizard with the camera but also over the course of the day he managed to get everywhere without anyone noticing him! Jason has done the photography for a number of my friend's weddings and as soon as we got engaged; along with Michael G Moore 'The Piano Man' he was one of the first things we booked." - Annika & Richard

Bride Annika looked an absolute vision in her timeless Aston wedding dress by French designer Rime Arodaky. She had the most amazing, relaxed wedding dress shopping experience at RMW recommended bridal boutique The Mews Bridal. There were candles and fizz and she was put at ease right away by the wonderful team. She completed her look with Clarita shoes by Alexandre Birman, a veil by Helen Martin and the most beautiful and elegant hair pins by Luna Bea. She is absolute goals. As are the groomsmen in traditional morning suits and the bridesmaids in white Ghost jumpsuits.
