Inspiration

This wedding at Masseria Moroseta in Italy is sleek and elegant. The neutral colour palette consisted of whites, blues and greens. With foliage wedding decor and table runners, white bridesmaid dresses and blue suits for the groom and groomsmen. The bride looked stunning in a stylish halterneck dress from Halfpenny London which she teamed with a long veil, sleek updo, nude shoes and clutching a white floral bouquet. While the groom looked dapper in a blue dinner jacket and shirt with cream trousers. A day spent with close friends and family, with two of the groom's friends conducting the outdoor ceremony while one of the bride's friends played the first DJ set of the night.

What Made Our Day Unique

We decided to celebrate in Puglia so our wedding could be like our favourite thing - holidays! We've spent many treasured times with our families all over Italy and had dreamed of a big party outside in the sunshine. We chose Masseria Moroseta an all white modern country house surrounded by olive groves as it has such a magical and peaceful atmosphere (and 3 of Chris' favourite dogs - Bulldogs). Our day was centered around how special it was to have all our friends and family together in one place. Chris' friends Mard and Dean wrote and conducted the ceremony and my friend Michael played the first DJ set of the night full of soul and disco tracks he knew we would love. It was important to us for everyone to experience the full Italian wedding experience of endless delicacies, we even had mozzarella knots and Panzerotti made on the spot for antipasti.

Masseria Moroseta

The white modern house, Masseria Moroseta, was a beautifully simple but elegant choice for this couple to become husband and wife. Surrounded by olive groves, the couple chose to have minimal decor, bringing the outdoors in and having foliage decor and olive tree sprigs. The outdoor dinner was made up of a traditional 5 course menu with locally sourced food and wines. And of course not forgetting the cocktail bar that served the most delicious drinks - we will have an Espresso Martini please!

Inspiration & Styling

We went to Puglia for a big party in the sunshine with locally sourced food and wine. We chose to have the traditional five courses - aperitivo, antipasti, primi, secondi and a giant Italian wedding cake. The owner of Masseria Moroseta Carlos made the choice for us before we arrived to hold off mowing the wild spring flowers from the olive grove which were so pretty for our ceremony. We didn't want to overly decorate the Masseria as it's so beautifully designed already so we just added eucalyptus runners on the long tables for dinner and simple bunches of olive leafs on the ceremony benches. We had always wanted to eat outside in the evening and whilst it was a very windy day, we got our wish with the help of a canopy over the Masseria courtyard. The cocktail bar helped keep everyone awake and dancing after the epic feast with Rossinis, Espresso Martinis and Negronis.
