On one hot and sunny afternoon in Puglia, this incredible couple tied the knot under the shade of an age-old majestic tree. Nico & Nicol swore their vows and embraced each other under the golden glow of the sunset. This editorial shoot was created by Alessia Zazzera Wedding and Event Planner using the location of Puglia as a whole as the inspiration. The suppliers involved wanted to create an authentic Italian wedding experience that would encourage couples to visualise their own wedding in the rustic heaven that is Puglia!

Masseria Palesi LGBQTI+ shoot in Puglia, Italy

We wanted to make couples who dream of getting married here imagine how an authentic wedding can take place with simplicity: breathing in the traditions, appreciating the beauty of the area surrounding the typical farms in the area and joyfully experiencing one of the most beautiful days of their life.

Masseria Palesi, Puglia

Puglia as a whole inspired this shoot! Masseria Palesi is the backdrop for the shoot. The venue is a historic farm in the heart of the Itria Valley, which retains its authenticity and exudes rustic charm. Today, these seventeenth-century environments are a refined location for exclusive rural events and weddings that offer an experience like no other. The beauty of the exterior is reflected inside with classical elements displayed with a twentieth-century reinterpretation.

Beauty & Styling

In regard to style and beauty, this editorial shoot wanted to use the rustic charm of the farm and natural colour palette and use that within the fashion and styling. This inspired a vintage retro feel with the bridal outfits, hair, and makeup. The simplicity of the bridal styling complements the natural setting and ensures the focus of the shoot is on the love and romance between the couple. The vintage wedding car is the cherry on top that completes this rustic Italian wedding.

The only way to guarantee a golden hour moment like this is to have a destination wedding!

Our idea was to convey the beauty of nature, simplicity and love.
