Inspiration

Gemma and Jonny's Millbridge Court wedding was absolutely beautiful. Think foliage, giant balloons, and an incredibly well-dressed wedding party in stylish evening attire. All of this took place on a beautiful Summer's day complete with amazing natural light and fun and giggles had by all. Capturing all the pretty was super talented RMW recommended supplier Nataly J Photography who describes the day as "No stress, just love and laughter."

Bridal Separates

Gemma & Jonny: I found my dress, designed by Madison James at Kalina Bridal Boutique in North London. When I went to try on dresses I had a few styles in mind that I pictured myself wearing. Although, whilst all the dresses that I picked out looked beautiful (because what wedding dress doesn’t?) they just weren’t “the one”. The dress that I wore on my wedding day I wouldn’t have picked out myself. It initially a very low cut two-piece. Kalina convinced me to just try it on and after adding a few pegs in places and extra material, I was sold. Fortunately, the designers had one size left in stock and it was mine! I was in awe of Kalina’s seamstress skills and I can't recommend her and her boutique enough.

Millbridge Court, Surrey Wedding

We chose our venue Millbridge Court because we loved the modern barn feel that it had to it and the interior design meant we only needed very minimal decor. The huge windows that looked out into the garden were stunning backdrops for our ceremony and our dinner. We had gorgeous weather on our wedding day which meant our guests could relax in the picturesque garden, we even had some cows come to visit! The majority of our decor was handmade. Not only was this cost efficient but the little creative projects were my favourite part of planning the wedding. My husband and I had so much fun spending time together spray painting bottles or getting creative with a hula hoop for our table plan. It did take up most of my evenings and on several occasions, I stuck my fingers together with superglue, but it made the day feel so personal. Plus we get to use all the cute decor in our new home! Zuzanna from Bloomantic provided our stunning flowers. I only gave her a few Pinterest photos and a budget to work with and she created a beautifully detailed package full of foliage and neutral flowers that perfectly matched our colour scheme.

Wedding Photographer

Nataly J Photography captured our wedding perfectly! I’m obsessed with our wedding photos! As someone who makes awkward faces whenever I see a lens, Nataly was a dream. She made us both feel so comfortable and captured those non-scripted shots by getting us to tell each other jokes and whisper funny things to each other, we quickly forgot she was taking pictures and it was nice to have some quiet time on our day just the two of us laughing. Nataly picked out a dreamy woodland nearby our venue to take our photos and they turned out magical.

Event Planner

Elizabeth Rose Events provided on the day logistical support. Thanks to Anne our day was completely stress-free, she had everything covered and we genuinely did not think about anything other than enjoying ourselves. Anne was professional, fun and calm throughout the day, at one point her dress caught fire on a candle during the ceremony - nobody even noticed!
