Inspiration

With COVID-19 still putting a hold on most couples plans, we thought we'd share with you this incredibly stylish and romantic Paris elopement planned and captured by Anne-Sophie Benoit. She uses a high street wedding dress proving you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in and complements the embroidery design with red flowers, decor and details. There's also an intimate picnic in the park and breathtaking views of the iconic Eiffel Tower during both day and night, plus, a seriously cool motorcycle ride.

Vision

Contemporary elopement in Paris with embroidered wedding dress, red flowers and accessories. Plus, a picnic in the park and motorcycle ride around Paris.

Inspiration & Styling

I don’t live in Paris but this city definitely calls for romance. But as so many people eloped or got married in Paris, the goal was to do something a bit different. The dress was my starting point, I wanted to show that it was possible to get married without breaking the bank. As I’m a sucker for boho vibes I looked across Instagram and ended up finding this beautiful dress on Meadows. £220, I guess you can’t beat that!

Paris Elopement

To start their romantic Paris Elopement, the couple got ready in a room with breathtaking skyline views of the romantic city. They then rode through the streets on their motorcycle and enjoyed a picnic at the Champ de Mars next to the Eiffel Tower. Artis Événement set up the laid back picnic which included rugs, cushions and a dessert table for a cute and cosy moment. After exchanging their vows on a bridge with further views of the Eiffel tower they headed to the rooftops and culminated their day by watching the city light up. Soo romantic.

Eco-Conscious

The second thing I wanted to show was that it was possible to be more eco-conscious when it comes to getting married. All the make-up used here is vegan and all the vendors are locals. I think it’s important to think about the way weddings have an impact on our planet. So I always try to give ideas to my couples to make eco-friendly choices. It’s not about being perfect, but just making a few changes. Eloping is definitely a great way to help the planet!

Parisian

To keep the Parisian vibe, the couple got ready in a nice room with a view of Paris’ roofs. Then they rode through Paris with their motorcycle for a picnic next to the Eiffel Tower (at the Champ de Mars). Artis Événement set up the picnic for a cute and cosy moment. With their belly full, we wandered around Paris and found a nice spot for them to exchange vows. To finish, we went to a rooftop and waited for the Eiffel Tower to light up at night. Such a romantic way to end the day.
