Well if this wedding at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall doesn't scream 'fun' I don't know what does! The bride and groom have constantly got the biggest smiles plastered on their face along with all their guests and that wandering acoustic wedding band looks so entertaining, getting the party going! The bride looked stunning in an applique wedding dress with a long sleeve layer which could be removed halfway through the day! The humanist ceremony was followed by drinks outside and a superb wedding breakfast - it had a lot to live up to with the groom being a chef himself! Even the evening food was incredible, with guests enjoying delicious toasties and porchetta buns around the cosy fire under lanterns!
What Made Our Day Unique
The ultimate venue down in Cornwall - we chose this venue based on the food and location (Simon's a chef) so it was important we had the best food going! And it's farm - to - plate down there - everything is home grown and perfect. Its beautiful; and rustic and the team over there are next level - a huge shout out to Eavan our events manager, Steve the master of Nancarrow and Jack the head chef - they made our experience next level. We were able to hire the whole venue and put up our entire wedding party in the beautiful rooms within the venue, making it a 4 day party, all on site. We had pizza night in the courtyard on arrival for our nearest and dearest, we were able to set up everything the day before with the help of everyone at Nancarrow, and we had a post wedding cool down the next day - it made the whole experience so special and we can't recommend the venue enough. THE FOOD MY LORD!
Nancarrow Farm
Nancarrow Farm is a stunning venue nestled in Cornwall, a rustic heaven with all wedding breakfast ingredients grown on-site! The decor of the day definitely complemented the vibes of the venue, with quotes from the couples' favourite songs scattered throughout on wooden signs and soft tones including sky blue bridesmaid dresses! We simply love this venue which is why they are one of our handpicked suppliers!
Inspiration & Styling
We didn't have much of a colour scheme - we went with the rustic nature of the venue, and the Cornish hedgerows/Nancarrow's beautiful flowers made it all very easy and essentially decorated already! Decor - we went with all our favourite song lyrics painted of driftwood dotted around the venue, things like "I was dreaming when I wrote this" "Under the moonlight, the serious moonlight" "Holy cow I love your eyes" and lots of beautiful lighting and candles in storm lamps - the venue is so naturally beautifully we didn't have much to add!
