Inspiration

Needle and Thread dresses, We LOVE them. We see lots of gorgeous fashion coming through Rock My Towers on a daily basis. We're lucky to work in an incredibly creative industry where we have fantastic suppliers, such as those on our handpicked supplier directory, The List, coming out of our ears. But there is nothing quite like the squeal you might hear when the team are eyeing up Needle and Thread dresses. As of today, Needle and Thread are one of our approved suppliers on The List, and so to celebrate we're sharing with you the new A/W '19 collection 'Fallen for You'.  Needle and Thread dresses are known for being exquisite, incredibly crafted with feminine embellishment and this new collection is the perfect example of that.

NEEDLE AND THREAD BRIDE

"We want to cater to all brides and don’t have one ‘typical’ girl that chooses our styles. We love seeing our brides wear Needle and Thread dresses and style them in their own unique way. There’s such a wide range of weddings that they have been worn for; country house weddings, cool city weddings and black tie. We are also a hugely popular choice for bridesmaid dresses. Every season we update our bridesmaid Andromeda styles with different colours and prints, at a really great price point" - Hannah, Founder and CEO of Needle and Thread

VISION BEHIND THE NEW COLLECTION

"Inspired by fallen petals and flowers, the AW19 collection named ‘Fallen for You’ features details of fallen petals embellishment throughout the designs. For our key style (Fallen Petals Bridal Gown) we have used a 3D effect, really making the details stand out. We work hard to keep the pieces at an attainable price point (under £1000) but with no compromise on the designs. What differs from our past collections and something we really wanted to develop, is creating the full Needle & Thread wedding wardrobe. We’ve designed pretty ruffle maxi skirts and gemstone detailed bombers which is the perfect look for the night before the wedding. If the bride is opting for a second wedding look for the evening, our Leilah Dotted Bridal Ballet Skirt and embellished vest top is a really fun option - We want to appeal to the modern bride with pieces she will want to wear again! The bridal landscape has changed recently, and there has been a large appetite for contemporary designs, stepping away from the traditional wedding gown and veil. We have also included pink and red styles for this season. We introduced this to our customer in 2017 and it proved to be a really popular choice - perfect for the bride that wants to step away from traditional ivories and whites." - Hannah, Founder and CEO of Needle and Thread

Needle and Thread Dresses

We've been a huge fan of Needle and Thread dresses for a long time, in fact, our very own founder Charlotte wore the incredible Aurora gown at her sister's wedding last month, but this new collection has blown our sequinned socks off.  Needle and Thread dresses are always beautiful but we think the collection has a bit of something for everyone; whether you're going cool London chic and adding an embellished bomber jacket, fairytale elegance with the Leilah dotted gown or just adding a delicate veil.  We've totally fallen for...well, 'Fallen For You'.

DESIGN SHAPES & SILHOUETTES

"We have used shapes and silhouettes that have proven to work well every season for our consumer. With options of both long sleeves and sleeveless, giving the bride alternative choices with what she feels best in. We use voluminous tulle, which creates lots of movement, especially perfect for the dancefloor! We have also added a shorter midaxi length to the collection, a really complimentary look if the bride is looking for something other than full length. Sequins have also made a comeback, keeping in line with our ready to wear contemporary pieces. We are really excited to introduce styling hair accessories such as the Bridal Bow Veil and Bridal Tulle Hair Bow for the first time; whilst capes also return for the season, offering the prettiest of modest layers. We have seen such an appetite for both, and our capes for ready to wear, have had such a positive response. Our designs are original, authentic and at an attainable price point. We work hard to create these beautiful gowns that are instantly recognisable and fit women well." - Hannah, Founder and CEO of Needle and Thread

The new collection is available on the Needle and Thread site. If that's not enough and you need another hit of Needle and Thread dresses, you can check out some of the other gorgeous brides who have previously worn them here
